“The nephew of former President Kennedy, Robert Kennedy Jr , who is running for the Democratic Party’s nomination in the upcoming US presidential election, has declared that he will become an independent candidate.
Robert Kennedy Jr said : “The people have told me that they are ready to change the history of this country. That is why I am here today to declare my independent candidacy for the 2024 Presidential election.
” The candidate is in Philadelphia, the location where the Declaration of Independence was signed, calling for “independence from the corrupt two-party system.
” In April of this year, he announced his candidacy for the Democratic Party nomination, but he was unable to overcome the incumbent position held by Biden and is now an independent candidate.
However, according to a survey, 14% of those polled said they would vote for Kennedy if it were a three-way race between Biden, Trump, and Kennedy.
At the campaign venue, there are people who used to support the Democratic Party or the Republican Party, but sympathize with the idea of “breaking free from the two-party system” and coming together.
The focus will be on whether Kennedy can attract these voters or not.”
